You will play a pivotal role in reducing anti-social behaviour in the communities of Swindon. These roles will support the delivery and evaluations of the interventions being delivered as part of the safer streets initiative.
The role is hybrid although some travel in and around the Borough is required therefore access to a vehicle is a must.
To provide a victim centered approach, ensuring timely action is taken on cases that involves risk and vulnerability and ensure interventions and prevention techniques are appropriately applied to secure a positive outcome.
To provide solutions to individuals and communities experiencing ASB and nuisance and contribute towards the Council’s objectives of sustaining a reduction in crime and ASB.
To build relationships within the target communities to try to tackle the individual problems within the area, including attendance at community meetings as required.
Knowledge of ASB legislation
Previous project management and evaluation
Consultation experience
Facilitating public or multi-agency meetings
