Description

Our client has an exiting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic chef.

Working in the kitchens of a beloved local pub in a small Wiltshire village, you will be expected to:

- Create and prepare high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards and customer preferences
- Perform daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Support the Head Chef with service
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Cover Head Chef during days-off/holidays
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area

Qualifications

Desired Experience:

- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role in a pub/restaurant setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and culinary trends
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Hygiene Level 1 or 2 certificate
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
